Description
English: Plaque with four figures in high relief. Neolithic, 1st half of 6th century BC.

On the left, a lying couple embracing. On the right, a woman lying with a child in her arms. It probably depicts a sacred marriage. Stone (schist). Height 11,6 cm. Width 11,3 cm. From Çatalhöyük, level VI A, shrine 30. Correspondent: J.M.Criel, Antwerpen.
